Editorial policy
Honest Garden Review aims to make garden topics clear, accurate and useful. We explain what a piece can support, avoid overstating certainty and make material relationships visible to readers.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable, accessible sources and review copy for clear wording. When a topic depends on climate, soil or local growing conditions, we say so rather than present one approach as universal. We do not claim that general editorial information can replace advice tailored to a particular garden.
Independence and disclosure
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. Any sponsored or partner material is labelled clearly as such, so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A collaboration does not guarantee coverage or a favourable view.
Corrections
If you spot a material error or unclear passage, use the Contact page and identify the article and the point at issue. We review correction requests and update text when needed, making a clear note when a change materially affects the meaning.
Images and illustrations
Illustrations may be AI-generated. Where an image is illustrative rather than a photograph of an actual garden or plant, we aim to make that distinction clear and do not present generated imagery as documentary evidence.
