Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers understand gardens and make thoughtful choices about plants, soil, design or care. Send proposals through the Contact page; a concise, specific pitch is the best place to begin.
What makes a strong pitch
Name the subject, the reader it serves and the main idea the piece will explain. Tell us what makes the angle distinct, what form it could take and why it will remain useful beyond a passing trend. A short outline is more useful than a polished full draft sent without context.
Subjects and approach
We are interested in clear explainers, comparisons, garden histories, seasonal observations and focused guides to everyday garden decisions. Keep advice proportionate, distinguish personal experience from general claims, and flag where conditions vary by climate or place. We do not seek unsupported claims or promotional copy presented as editorial work.
How to send a proposal
Use the Contact page, choose the editorial option and include a working title, a brief outline and a few lines about your relevant experience. Do not send confidential material or assume that a pitch has been accepted until there is a clear agreement.
